My situation is this: I ported to cell c in october from vodacom, and I have to say ive enjoyed the data prices.

But the problem is when im at work I get no cell c signal. So everyday weekday 7am-4pm I get no phone calls. I miss alot of phone calls because of this.

I cannot port to vodacom or mtn, which have signal at my work place, because of this STUPID 3month rule.

I think its unfair to force a person to stay on a network when the network can not provide the the basic minimum which is phone calls at all time.

Im not anti cell c, I have a contract and two prepaid numbers on their network, but at this point, on my main number receiving phone calls is more of a priority than cheap data.

Can't you manually change your network from Cell C to Vodacom?

Even though you roam on Vodacom Edge, it's good enough for messages, Whatsapp and phone calls.

I do this all the time when I go to gym. Takes a minute or two to change network manually.

I have exactly the same problem. Cell C coverage is very spotted in our town and for some reason our house seems to be in a blind spot... As soon as I drive out of my driveway all my messages start pouring in, really frustrating.

Hoping Cell C will stay true to the final upgrages to the towers here supposedly to finish by end Dec according to the local Cell C staff, but not having very high hopes of this..maybe I'll have to change back to VC in Jan... the missed calls, messages, etc is just too much to lose

Got my roaming to work.
On mobile networks I put it on gsm only and selected vodacom.
Signal is decent, just received a phone call and it was clear with no break ups.
