Got poser 7 this week to try my artistic side and... The programs library (for installing your chars, props ect) is the worst layout i've ever seen on any piece of software.

After dl all the freebies i could find and a few not so free i thought ok lets go. Half the stuff doesn't load. I got some faq on the directory structure of poser and it all seems the runtime folder is the most important.

The thing is after you install 50 char with poses and clothes which is all in the "pose" folder it really get furstrating to browse to the item you want. On my 19" monitor the list is prob twice my the hight of the monitor.

I couldn't find a way to rename the directories and move them so that each char have its own directory with props, morphs, poses and clothes ect.

What bugs me is that iam not stupid with pc's and if this bugs the hell out of me what about the guy that does 3d for a living and dont know little about directory structures.

It took me prob 2 days to get everything sorted after 3 installs.
:confused::mad:

Isn't Poser 7 ancient already?

I remember playing with Bryce when they were still the same company - it rocked.

why would you want to do that :confused:
the props, poses and stuff are global - ie. they work on any character.

as for the library being bigger than your screen, isn't there a scrollbar?

And PS: Poser Sucks bawlls - all one can do is pose pre-made characters..useless

Poser is for people who cant make their own characters. They just use some one else's and call it their own.

Noted, will unlease my artistic side on another piece of software;)
