Grow up, don’t grow old - who has good communication skills and enjoys working with people – we are nice people and are looking for similarly nice people to work with – we believe that you can and should enjoy your day at work and time with your colleagues
- who has a valid driver’s license
- and is interested in being trained in-house to be the supervisor / co-ordinator of our Support Desk. We have a bunch of great IT nerds who really know what they are doing, but they do need someone who can keep an eye on incoming service requests and make sure they get delegated to staff members with the correct skills for the particular request so they can get stuck into their work. You need the human / inter-personal skills to be able speak to clients and give them updates and also to notice when one of your Nerds are having a rough day and then take them one side and see what can be done to assist. So, you need to enjoy the challenge of keeping the Support Desk tickets to a minimum, motivating the team around you and keeping your clients happy – so basically you need to be methodical, a cheerleader and a psychologist! You will be mentored by the head of the Support Department so as to have the best training possible. You would also have the opportunity as a result to have your efforts seen at the right level straight away. - computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel is a MUST…..oh, so is an excellent sense of humour
