Possible Diablo 4

Agreed. I just sent to everyone that I used to play D2 with. This weekend is going to be epic

I still have nightmares of Error 37. But I haven't learned my lesson. I will be at the midnight launch, you bet your ass I will

I'll just leave this here...

After vanilla d3 i can honestly say i am done with blizzard.

Dude I feel you. Gave away my Bliz account to a Russian after that debacle. Unless reviews say it's the best game ever, I won't support them again.

I'm loving Diablo 3 right now, been playing it for many weeks. But I only puchased it long after they fixed all the problems.
Right now it's a solid game, but I understand it took a very long time to get to this point.

You can read about some of that process to fix Diablo 3 here.... Well recommended reading...

Diablo 2 will be very difficult to repeat and get right. And the above article mentions why, it may be impossible to reproduce the exact elements that went into Diablo 2.
My only criticism of games like this is the grind to get the best gear. But I suppose that's part of the attraction.

If you bought Diablo 3 and were disappointed, I challenge you to reinstall it now and see how they have fixed it.
It's still not Diablo 2, but it's not far off.

Might I suggest Grinding Gear Games - Path of Exile to you. It's loosely based on Diablo 2 and has a massive passive skill tree.

I'm really enjoying D3 currently. S14 has also been my 1st ever season char...currently managed to get up to GR80 solos.

Considering that it was released in 2012 and Reaper of Souls came out in 2014, it might be time for D4.

PoE is an incredible game. I think the only thing that gives Diablo the edge is nostalgia and the lore attached to it

I love PoE. I'm not an avid gamer as I used to be, but I do put three or four hours in a week and it's thoroughly fun to play for a free-to-play title.

I just wish there were more slots for currencies in the stash, but you can always buy more if you really feel the need (and want to support the developers)

I've always been a fan of Diablo played 1,2 and 3 on release. D3 was pretty terrible at launch but right now its in a good place, I think its the best ARPG out there.

I liked POE and Grim dawn but nothing can match Diablo 3's gameplay.

My hopes for D4 are something new and fresh using the latest tech for something a bit different.

Bwahahaha... Laughable statement. POE makes D3 look like solitaire...

I never played D2 so I can't speak about it but do enjoy D3. Initially it was a nightmare (especially the drops. A strength roll on a Wizard item?!) but once they had that sorted, it became awesome. The social aspect is fun but the repetitive nature of Rifting does start to get a bit tedious.

Do yourself a favour and get a copy of D2. Then play the **** out of it. I'm jealous as ****, I wish I had never played it so I could experience it from scratch all over again.

I don't want to intrude too much with PoE cheerleading, except to suggest to anyone who's not played it before, to give it a go when the next league begins at the end of this month. Check out the trailer here.

I have to agree here.

Look I was a massive fan of diablo 2 and had so many hopes for diablo 3. When it was released I got it and it was okayish then the bloody auction house came. After that I give up played some other stuff. Till I picked up POE.

When you go poe you never go back. It has much more to offer then diablo 3 way way way more content and its free to play.

Man, I've tried 3 times already (including the latest version) and it just doesn't grab me - no idea why....

Diablo 4 will be awesome, also I need to hunt down my D2 LOD disks so I can check out Median XL.

I get it your one of those POE fan boys and thats cool. I enjoyed POE played one or 2 seasons but on gameplay/graphics D3 beats it, in just about every other aspect POE beats D3 (updates/balancing/depth/skills etc etc).

I know POE peeps are super passionate about their game and nothing can compare but I'm hoping D4 can rev up the market a bit.

Speaking of which - if anyone knows the most affordable online method to purchase legit copies / cd-keys for D2 and LOD Expansion? Please let me know
