@Mfour: What is thing thing about Kennith:D...I'm quite catching it...

Mostly a prvate joke I suppose. It relates to the song from REM called What's the Frequency Kennith. Suppose it's a bit lame :o

For those with money to spare (quote from www.702.co.za):

"Now you can access 702 from wherever you are.
Simply dial 083 9000 702 and you can listen to 702 Talk Radio live - 24 hours a day!

NB: Calls charged at normal cellphone rates."
:p
Maybe I'll try that, got a pocket full of spare minutes. Thanks

For those in Cape Town who aren't avid Cape Talk listeners, Bruce Whitfield's show is syndicated on Cape Talk. I am one of those who listen to it on the way home from work.

Ok I'll resist. Seeing as I am not a Cape Talk listner, Pyrit, could you please let us have the frequency for the show, and would it be on at the same time as 702?

just in case they allow/solicit call in's to comment on the interview, right after its done, it might be useful for forumites to get ready to dialup and put their two cents worth on air - just to reinforce what's been said.. :) hog the lines..

dont forget to refer to myadsl.co.za as MUCH as possible..
get as many plugs in for the Forum as possible.. people pay thousands to pitch their products on air - although 6pm ish isnt 'prime' time, you can still reach a LOT of people..

Phrases like "As we on myadsl.co.za have been discussing at length.." and other similar routes, are a good way to work it into the conversation repeatedly, without sounding like self promotion :)
Good idea, but I think it best to leave out the "@ length" for people like myself with "[post=217085]TBD[/post]"...:D

COMING UP
THE WORLD AT SIX
The Shaik verdict - implications for South African business.
Tonight Bruce Whitfield takes a closer look at what the implications for South African business are of the guilty verdict in the Shaik trail. He also talks to Dr Andrew Golding, CEO of Pam Golding Properties about investing in property...in China.

Somebody go to DTSV audio and tune to 702

Hook up the feed to pc or other recording device and record. Crystal clear audio that way...

I am at work, so no way for me to do it...

Please!

Shoot - hope some records it if it happens - just got back home, it's 6:16 and I don't have time to setup anything to record - too damn hungry - busy devouring chinese after having nowt since brekkers ...

Please someone with DSTV record it for us...

What Antowan said, please someone record - there is still time - it hasn't started yet - streaming via iBurst is very patchy for me - keeps buffering every 5s..15s - somewhat unlistenable...

Im busy streaming right now, ready to push the record button.. Quality is ok, can hear every word that the DJ is saying, no probs ;)

could someone please email it to me .... just caught the end of the classic fm interview... Pinky was getting a little heated up..

Thanks RPM - I did manage to catch some of what you said - good stuff, thanks Ajax I will be able to hear everything crystal clear now :).

you guys totally rule! 20min after a live radio broadcast and I'm sitting with an audio file of it on my pc. I love technology! Thanks and well done, rpm!!
