No sireeeee, the Post Office already collapsed long, long before Mark Barnes were sent in to save it. Long before Mark Barnes we already used private couriers like TCG, Internet Express, DHL, Fedex and the likes to handle our shipments and postage needs - as there were virtually no service delivery at the SAPO. They took months, years to deliver a parcel. Then there was a 99% chance that the content would have been stolen too. Long before Mark Barnes we already made use of private companies to renew our vehicle licenses at Spar or even online. These services were fast and effective and we had no need to stand 2-4 hours in a queue at a post office to get the same done.

Mark Barnes just failed to save the Post Office. But, it is not his fault. The ANC f***ed it up so good that it can never be saved again. Just like the SAA.

Time to bid farewell to the utility and lay it to rest. Stop blaming each other.
