Post Office crisis

I have a P.O. box in Sandton City. Apparently its all closed down, I don't know where to get my mail.

Union leaders don't decide to strike or to end a strike, this happens on a vote by the union members.

But most members just follow their leaders, similar to the general elections, most just vote as 'advised' by their leaders...

Whenever I read these articles I think of the honest, hard working breadwinners who diligently go to work every day and put in a solid day's work. These folks then get reamed by the unions with their politicking and power games.

If a union is "reaming" their members over then why don't the members put a stop to it?
Resign from the union, take a firearm to work to protect yourself, etc.
The reason why the unions have so much power is because no one has the balls to stand up and put a stop to their nonsense.
If someone is harassing or intimidating me then I will defend myself with force if necessary.
Bunch of pansies ...

All we need is one thing: The Iron Lady Approach.
And that starts with dismantling the Wekka State.

Our problem is our current hegemons are the very people who entrenched Union power. We need a revolution.

And a quiet one is taking place. Millions of people are finding alternatives to the Post Office. So instead of being provatised as an institution, the Unions are handing the Post Office's business to other entities.

When you're short-sighted, unintended consequences abound...

Maybe those honest breadwinners should apply their hard-working dispositions to their vote as well if they want to keep the fruits of their labour. Take the easy way out & vote for the ANC due to history, food parcels, singing & dancing then suffer the consequences of corrupt leadership .. or vote for another party that has the individual & the country's prosperity in mind.

Moeletsi Mbeki wrote a book on African capitalism called Architects of Poverty. "A tale of lost opportunities and extinguished hopes of the political elites, who contrive to keep their fellow citizens poor while enriching themselves."

Read it.

Until then, keep on working hard & enjoy your poverty.

I've lost count of how many weeks its been, but if I had to take a guess it is probably passed the 8 week mark since I ordered my stuff.

I know your feel... this sh*t is just getting out of hand now. just fire the buggers, all of those striking and get some new people willing to work.

If you arnt happy with what you are getting at your current job, ask for a raise or go look somewhere else...

Indeed, I'm getting so desperate now I'm even thinking of finding someone in joburg to get it from the mail centre, courier it and then pay them for the hastle. The **** thing is is the item I ordered is a hdmi headless plug for my offices micro server because without a monitor... It doesn't boot ( very stupid but ya)

I also can't use a monitor because it sits in a 9U wallbox

Say no more...
