Post office exporting as bad as importing?

Hi guys,

Is sending packages overseas with the post office as bad as importing them? Or is the process of sending them out more streamlined than customs clearing them coming in?

Anyone have experience with this? I have a few packages I wanna send to the U.K. but DHL costs R300 which is double the value of the package. The post office price for packages under 2kg is R40 and R36.95 for registered mail which is far cheaper and once SAPO sends them out most other countries mail centers are more trustworthy and muuuuch quicker.

If it gets stolen here before leaves country they will end up with empty boxes.

Less than 2 weeks to the USA, send a graphics card.

You use SAPO for all your GPU exports? And they've always been sent out in good time/ no "theft" of your parcel?

Yes all good so far. I send to USA and Germany for RMA.
