Postal problems strike again

Would love to ship a parcel locally with a GPS tracking device plus a GSM signals to triangulate where the package is too see where the "problem" is ? \
GSM device (service like www.look4me.co.za) if their is no GPS coverage.

Isn't it mainly international shipments that get pilfered?

Anyway - I think this is a great idea. I know I would throw a couple of rands at a community project to detect some of these cretins.

The problem is also outbound mail ... I know of a colleague who has had 60+ airmail shipments go missing from SA to Australia & New Zealand - the bulk of these were sent registered mail - and needless to say never ever arrived in Oz. Common thread - mail is sorted at the Joburg postal hub and or carried on SAA flights from Joburg to Australia.
