I've decided to implement a system on my home network where by I use fetchmail to retrieve mail from numerous pop servers and then store the mail locally. I've set up postfix as my network's MTA and have added gmail.com and mweb.co.za as virtual mail domains, and then have a couple virtual mailbox maps such as [email protected] and [email protected] which are stored locally in maildir format. I then have fetchmail retrieve my e-mail and pass it on to the MTA which stores the mail locally.

This all runs fine however when I try send an e-mail to [email protected], the mail is bounced since gmail.com is a virtual mail domain and their is no virtual mapping for [email protected].

I would like to be able to keep a setup this like, but have the MTA forward unknown mappings such as [email protected] to my relayhost, which is smtp.saix.net.

I'm not too experienced with postfix but I'm sure I'm just missing a silly setting. I would really appreciate it if someone could help... :)
