I have the opposite of green fingers, so need some advice:

I have a small potted palm in my office and the instructions said to water it about 1 to 2 tablespoons of water 2 x a week, which I have done.

Some of the leaves seem to be turning lighter at the tips, with some dark patches.

Is this due to too much, or too little water?
Thanks

I was under the impression these palms can grow pretty much anywhere in a house, but I 'll just move it to the other side of my desk where there is more natural light.

Good idea.
Also add a bit more water.
Also, movement (like wind blowing the leaves or you brushing them) is not good.

More sun, but not direct mid day sun. Also increase water. That doesn't sound close to enough for SA.
