Hi folks

I have just received information that a switch in the data centre is casing packet loss, causing MyBroadband to be slower than expected. As soon as I get more news I will post it here...
 
I've just phoned and they are busy replacing the switch as we speak, the call centre said it should be fixed by 3pm.

Cause of problem: Incompatibility between Juniper routers and existing switch hardware.

Additional information: Hetzner Engineers are attending.<br> <br> UPDATE:<br> =======<br> Since this morning's planned maintenance, there was intermittent packet loss to JNB2. Hetzner Engineers troubleshooted the cause of the packet loss throughout the course of the day. After removing the problematic switch hardware the packet loss was resolved. Hetzner Engineers will continue to monitor the link throughout the evening. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

ok Cool thats good to know , I was blaming my 3g modem nearly threw it out the office window . The cat has another life .
 
Just had a few database issues when connecting to the forums. After 3-4 mins it all came right again.

"Database error
The database has encountered a problem."
