It's charging at 4.9w. Probably just ticking over but it should be able to increase my battery life significantly when I need it.

I'm failing to see how its charging at 5 volts ?

How does a cellphone charge at 5v?

Cellphone chargers are 5v, cellphone battery (1 cell) is 4.2v full.
Laptop chargers are usually 19/20v, Laptop battery (normally 3 or 4 cells) would be 12.6v or 16.8v full respectively.

So 20v is easy to step down for charging while still providing enough juice to power the device itself with a relatively low amperage.
To charge a laptop on 5v would require very high amperage and have big inefficiencies, thus is not used to my knowledge, thus i am stumped.
