Maybe because somebody couldn't be bothered to check the fuel levels...

I was also responsible for a genset - checked the oil, water, battery and diesel levels every month, and never had an embarassing moment.

Even more than likely was that it was siphon and sold on the blackmarket

Yup, been out for a while now apparently - Sentech are blaming Eskom. And if they don't get it working again in 2 hours, I won't be able to watch Heroes!

It seems to act as a relay for other transmitters. SABC 1 and 2 is(was) out on the Stellenbosch transmitter according to a friend of mine.
