Power Failure / Cape Town

Hi all,

Seems this morning about about 5:30ish, quite alot of CPT had a power failure.

I was down (CBD) and so was my work (Bothasig) and quite a few other areas.

Anyone know why?

Eskom high tension cable at Acacia Park switching station blew at 5am - the same station that feeds entire peninsula.

My UPSs switched on for about 10 seconds at 5:30 (ish) indicating general power failure/low mains power supply, but has been stable since then. CPT central.
