Maybe you are not aware about the collapse of water systems at some smaller townsbecause you live in JHB, go research it a bit.
Would you prefer it if these researchers and experts waited until its almost time to fall apart everywhere then tell you? It would certainly be more sensationalist if they told us in 2015 "power grid will collapse next week", but hardly useful for anyone that would want to take precautions (like getting off the grid, or leaving the country)

Will be in a good position. I've been to the UK a good few times in the past few years there's pros and cons but overall imo I think its a lot better than here.

The UK has apparently just hit another (severe) recession... Not so sure this is a good idea for anyone in any profession right now. Make sure whoever you're working for is 100% stable. Looks like the UK is heading for a Grecian financial meltdown.

Only one of the 3 names I picked at random had any involvement with Apartheid whatsoever. To not know that would mean you also had to have missed the parts about SA's involvement in World Wars 1 and 2, early Cape history, the Anglo-Boer war and the subsequent formation of the country known today as "South Africa" (and pretty much the rest of SA history), the Roman Empire, Holism, Albert Einstein, and one or 2 other things in addition to "apartheid 101" so yeah you're right, it is pretty sad. And the education system is all messed up.
