Well everything is insulated *damn this iBurst is actually fast *gasp**

anyway......erm network point from PC along with power from adapter *using brown and white/blue cables*running to power input and point on UTD, antenna cable from UTD to antenna outside on DSTV dish mast pointing towards plumbstead I guess...

Umm... cryptic description. I'll take a try.
"Network point from PC along with power from adapter" (network cable from pc + power cable) "running to power input and point on UTD" (ok as long as they are kept separate), "antenna cable from UTD to antenna outside on DSTV dish mast pointing towards plumbstead I guess..." (I hope that dish mast is earthed, otherwise first lightning strike it's bye-bye DSTV and pc+UTD)

Everything else seems good as long as it's insulated.

erm I guess the mast it earthed......it bolted to the wall.........:o :o :o

I would still recommend getting a surge protector with an antennae throughput to be safe. Make sure it has an indicator light telling you that it's still working.

It is pretty nice hey.. I thaught you wouldnt be gretting such a great service with just a UTU in the roof.

But damn.. your pings are better than mine now, and you speeds.

You can buy a PoE injector at Miro in Joburg. All it basicaly does is to inject 12-48V into 4 of the cat5 lines not used by most Ethernet Devices. The only problem with distance is the Amp's you loose. With a 48V unit from Miro they recon you can run up to 30m ...
