I'll do one better.
The light outside my place exploded into flames (not even exaggerating) and burnt the light casing.

Plastic smelling bonfire at 11PM was interesting.

It's been a year. Still no fixes.
Ouch sounds about right

Ours all the way down the streets just released the blue smoke.

Nice!
Our office aircon does not run off the generator. Was preparing for a 8 to 10 slot now by upping the AC to 30 degrees before power goes out. First hour of load shedding is too hot, 2nd hour is too cold. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Sounds like it ;-P

Also think it was earlier as I said didn't have shedding in the morning. So I really do know what KZN felt, I mean like one session every so often.
Not KZN, Port Shepstone got 10 hours a day just like you guys.

Lets see, impressive numbers for today.

But that indicates at most stage 3 for tonight, but at most.

All I can say, is that power alert has been looking a lot more positive in the last couple of days. Not as bleak sitting around 24GW

Now if they can just get it to 33GW and end loadshitting so the solar stuff can come down in price.

Strangely enough in the 3 years I've been tracking, I've not actually seen 33GW hit often.
