Well it's not like you were on proper load shedding anywaysOne good thing about this new flood.. More LS exemptions coming durbans way.
It's amazing when the system is not turned off and on every 4 to 6 hours that things don't pop right?So.. no power outages in our area unless it’s load shedding related and always comes back on the dot. Feels like the new normal… stage 3 forever?
No winter disaster like predictions said?
Maybe LS ended by year end. /s
Primrose was without power for 10 days; due to someone trying to steal a big eskom cable. They lost their life and residents lost power until eskom could come replace like 1km of it.It's amazing when the system is not turned off and on every 4 to 6 hours that things don't pop right?
Though parts of my area still have cable thieves
Yup happens way to often sadlyPrimrose was without power for 10 days; due to someone trying to steal a big eskom cable. They lost their life and residents lost power until eskom could come replace like 1km of it.

They've had unsealed cables put down in one spot and after rain it popped. The contractor just shrugged his shoulders and was like told you so.Then the residents lost their **** when they heard it was going to take 24hrs to seal the cable before switching on.
“Why does it need to be sealed? This is stupid”
Okay Karen, let us know how unsealed cables work next time when it rains.
Probably not... But hey at least it can be official againWell it's not like you were on proper load shedding anyways

Withdrawal symptoms? Finally back to stage 2!
I'm also wondering about them - partial honesty for a change, or some further snuck-in sabotage, too early for freebie weather assistance - Jo'burg only gets a bit cold this weekend. So I guess here's me going to use Eskom tonight to make sure I've got power at 6am tomorrow morning. Cause it's probably going to be stage 2 from 5am to 4pm and stage 3 from 4pm to midnight for awhile now. Until those magical generating units come online.
Sigh there goes my Friday off.
They might blame KZN and CPT as they are getting wrecked with rain and flooding.I'm also wondering about them - partial honesty for a change, or some further snuck-in sabotage, too early for freebie weather assistance - Jo'burg only gets a bit cold this weekend.
