A cold-front is predicted to pass over the SW-Cape on Fri 7th, spreading east on Sat 8th, and covering almost the entire southern and central parts of SA by Sun 9th. Very cold daytime temperatures will occur, with snow over all the high mountain ranges (from the Cederberg to the Drakensberg). Long range forecasts indicate possible traces of sleet or snow over parts of the eastern Free State and Mpumalanga on Mon 10th (rather speculative).

Roughly Norwood / Houghton in Jo'burg. Please specify the location, so we can check against the chart.
This is the first proper cold front then for the year. Probably will see 2023 peak usage during this. The 5 day outlook for Mon 10th shows extremely cold daytime temperatures, all the way up into eastern Zimbabwe:

@Gordon_R , please check Roodepoort / Randburg as well if you have time (for Lupus).
Yep, I find weather.com accurate and with lots of juicy detail, can even compare suburbs. The chart I posted doesn't have detailed resolution. I was just asking Joburg/Durban/etc. Anyway, you can get specific forecasts from yr.no for almost any location.
All depends on what breaks I guess. Stage 4 for sure.Yep, but the axpert says not S6 so methinks S5.
