Cold air from last night still trapped inside the house? Big houses take time to equalise to local conditions. He should be fine tomorrow.

Yep. Our old house has thick walls so it stays warmer longer, but an extra day to get over the cold.

So far touch wood I've been only getting the 6 to 8pm ones, cause stage 1 has been early in the morning. But Friday it's 10 to 12 in the after noon sigh

My house is at least 8 degrees colder than the temp outside, it was built on a mountain full of iron out of solid stone blocks... It's great during the hot months, but as soon as temps dip below 20, it's just ****ing cold. Inside its just above 10 right now

Yeah it was from Tuesday night where they said Wednesday and Thursday were going to be S1 and back to normal, the last update was whoops we broke stuff.

Insulation, you need to sort that out. This isn't dark ages anymore, well I mean it is, but only thanks to Eskom

You need a bigger fireplace.
 
Hopefully demand is low on Saturday and they forget the stage 1. It is a warm day after all for most of the country. Then they have no shitting on sunday when the country is an icebox.

Make it make sense. Weekend maintenance again?
