Hourly demand is compared against available capacity, to indicate the amount of surplus/shortfall there was. Available capacity must be matched with the total RSA contracted demand.

It's wild that part of the country is in the 30s and the other part is sitting at 18
 
It is sad to say but the final countdown for Eskom has begun. Right now we are enjoying lower load shedding because units that have been out for actual years now are back in service. But there are no more parts for most of the units that are going down soon.

I hate to say it but it is going to get a lot worse soon. This excludes breakdowns.

Hmm looks like stage 3 isn't even really needed tonight, but it just seems the default
