If people followed this advice when I had my 4pm loadshitting, then we wouldn't have tripped when the power came on at 6pm when everyone is trying to use ovens, stoves, geysers, microwaves and on this day heaters. Power finally stayed on at 8:30pm.

I don't think it will be a problem during the other timeslots.

I already wait 5 minutes or so considering we've had issues in the past where it would come on then go off right after.

That's when it tripped, 6:05pm, then they tried again at 7:15pm, tripped 5 minutes later, then they tried at 8:30pm and then it stayed on.

It's always the 6pm switch on that its 50/50 if it trips, no other slots have issues. Monday with sub-zero temps just made it worse.

Even before this bulletin, I waited 30 minutes before turning ovens on etc and still leave geysers off until bedtime.

Our geysers are just off because we won't have water until sometime next week lol

Guess Mr Sparkles was wrong about geysers causing 3 stages of loadshedding, since we are in stage 6++ with most of JHBs being off due to water maintenance

Demand will only drop when households get their next electricity bill.
Doesn't work that way anymore.... majority have already been stretched thin and using the bare minimum for the last decade of insane over priced tariffs, more increases only results in more theft now
