@wingnut771 should set an example, and get the hell off the grid.He is on his way to also make sure @wingnut771 get's his fair share of blackouts.
Why? I have a spinning disk meter and can use the grid as a battery.@wingnut771 should set an example, and get the hell off the grid.
He has the mandate and power to persevere with his dancing career. Maybe they could get Kevin Bacon to star in a movie about the fellow.
I wonder if this means, hospitals, water reservoirs and such will be on their own substations, or if City power is working towards something along this line?"In addition, we will gradually exclude some industrial customers, businesses, and essential
services from loadshedding. We will start with network reconfiguration in the coming months
which will enable the total exclusion of many embedded essential services such as water pump
stations, hospitals and medical centres with life-support requirements as well as national key
points reliant on electricity for their core operations. We move from the premise that we are not
being fair to ourselves and our customers if we remain on the current loadshedding schedule.
In Cape Town i know all hospitals are on a separate grid and if they not, that grid they fall on is not loadshed. This has been quite the norm from what i have seen, i work for a distribution company and the company we buy the goods we distribute is just down the road from us in CT CBD... They are on the same grid as a big hospital, we are not... We get hit stages 1 - 6 they have yet to go off stages 1 to 6...I wonder if this means, hospitals, water reservoirs and such will be on their own substations, or if City power is working towards something along this line?
I do think this is the way forward. Mini subs for essential services. In Cape Town i know all hospitals are on a separate grid and if they not, that grid they fall on is not loadshed.
What balls.Right, but winter starts officially in just over two weeks. Right now we need more generation capacity. Not much we can do before winter starts.
What balls.
This notion of a season starting on an official date is such garbage.
*Checks google home.Turn off your motherfucking geyser!!
Ok Google, turn on PWs geyser*Checks google home.
It's off.
It really does make life so much easier and manages consumption.Ok Google, turn on PWs geyser
Honestly not that I've seen it manage consumptionIt really does make life so much easier and manages consumption.
When I check on the CBI app, I can see the KWh consumption and it's definitely higher when the geyser is left on as opposed to when I manage a schedule. I just use google home as I can consolidate all the differing devices in one place.Honestly not that I've seen it manage consumption
There has been times where they have purposely put us off with the wrong block and time. Though I welcome a reduced schedule, if they can't follow the current one which pretty simple. I can't wait to see how they handle a more jumbled mess.in addition, blocks will not get shed at the same time for the same stage on consecutive days. In simple terms, our customers will be on for longer than it is now", Mashava added.
Through history society has marked the passing of time in different ways. Today stating that a season/year/month starts on a specific date is the way we do it now. Nothing to get into a huff about. What balls.

You're an exception here, haven't seen many others with that kind of mess. There has been times where they have purposely put us off with the wrong block and time.
