We had UPS's for decades at home, hardly ever lasted longer than 18 - 24 months, regardless. That's not cost effective here.

Never used them at all externally, including at my main job even though I was the tech manager - our Woodmead office park supplied PC-clean (red 220V plugs) uninterrupted power

I haven't even replaced my laptop battery, would only really use that for the forum.... I'm hooked enough, no thanks

Yeah, if I was still working full time from home there's lots of things we would do.
Brownouts are fortunately now rare here and likely just quick local maintenance.

So my Cleos kitchen order arrived today, had to cook the personal sized lasagnas in the airfryer cause I was liss, though peak sun today was just barely enough to cover the air-fryer and microwave going, had to pause the dishwasher.
