About an hour, depends on how the ambient temp is as well, like when we had no water for 3.5 days but it was cold during the day and at night it took about 2 hours. This morning I flicked it back on at 5am, but I don't think it lost that much residual heat as it was nice and warm by 5.30. When my son showered a bit later it was back to normal.
