Good to see some real effort, but I'll be hesitant to trust their intentions and goals for a very long time.

So our LS started at 20:00 last night. Power has not returned since. Thankful for clear skies and and sunshine. So the solar is doing its thing.

So yeah had my 2 to 4 again this morning... Seems Eskom isn't skipping again
Bizarrely my 4am got cut rather short, switched back on at 5 instead of after 6 as planned. This was great as I would have had a lukewarm shower otherwise.

Our skipping also stopped. Just wondering if it'll change tonight with the again "needed" S4 - if so short lived I imagine, just until "normal" again on Wed.

Still out and it seems City Power don't know why - still "Investigating"

How are your batteries overnight?

Pretty decent. obviously depending on loads; they'll carry the house to sunrise - but will have to keep my son's wall panel heater off this evening, as that takes a fair amount of power and with it on, we won't make sunrise.

It's not that cold really, should be ok not putting it on

Yeah, he'll be just fine without it this evening.
Having it on last night drained the batteries a fair amount; but I thought "Ah no worried, LS ends in an hour and we have enough juice"

Oops.
