Except that you're very familiar with the Axepert, and this morning's first comment...

...sure sounds sarcastic. It would be typical of the dance you do. But no worries, we can be wrong, and say it..

Aand there's the punchline - again trying to make us look emotional and wrong, ANC / Eskom always nice, always good, always right.
LOL
Indeed you are emotional, now please move on before you become even more emotional, it's a fine holiday, I am sure you can still salvage some of it after the distress I caused you.

Thank you kind sir, you too ;- )

Had LS for 10mins for the 12am-2am slot, lol.

Eskom is too scared (why?) to say they are actually cutting LS from 12am-5am I reckon.

Our 4 to 5am didn't happen, may still be their skipping but sometimes they do that when we've just shifted in our schedule again, like last night.

Odd thing happened today.

Electricity went out at around 2PM - unscheduled obviously, but back up at around 3.10PM (someone on ESP said a transformer blew but I'm skeptical about that as it wouldn't take an hour to fix - I feel it was more of a cable issue). Went off again for about 5 minutes at 3.45PM. We were supposed to have the 4-6 PM slot but didn't because I think CoCT was a bit worried the issue might rear its ugly head again so soon after fixing it, so that was rather pleasant. CoCT was on Stage 1 at the time, there was no other area that could take the slack, so I don't know how they got away with that given their legal obligations to Eskom.

It depends on what the amps are set at, most 12v ones will draw 120 to 240 at most, while 48 can go up to 3000w if not setup correctly. But yeah generally what trips the power is people putting their kettles on, stoves, all the miscellanous batteries start charging, the vampire drain things, fridges, freezers, even a geyser shouldn't immediately start drawing if you didn't use it during shedding.
Mine could in theory do more than three, likely around 5 if charging at 1C. Currently grid max charge is set to 40A but the grid draw is less, around 2kw which according to the inverter is under 10A. Can easily run my house and charge inverter with 10A limit on grid. Stove/geyser far more than that, although my stove top is not heavy.

Skipping definitely still going on here, had nothing for 4-5am again. Will be 44 hours straight with power by tonight.
Weather a bit cool overnight but been like Spring since yesterday.

Wow that's not bad, mine will be 22 hours by 4pm

How's your S3 scheduling compared to the S2 we were meant to get? This morning's skip makes it identical for us :)
I guess sometimes there's a positive side too with the Jo'burg system.

Exactly the same as if it was S2 or S3, in fact it would've been the same if it was S1.

We will be four days once Saturday is done - of course we were supposed to have it on Wednesday but didn't.
