They won't. JHB water is doing it too now, it hasn't figured out that demand spikes when you don't have water for weeks and finally get a bit in the taps, so they are blaming JHB for "using more than they can pump" and are threatening "extreme measures" if we don't stop using water lol...

Not to mention all the leaks, I mean you drive down some roads and it looks like a river.

That's the other thing that really irks me... they really need to get their **** together...

The deeds office is also falling apart lol... JHB is a few months behind so I'm stuck here until transfer can actually happen at some point hopefully this year :sob:
 
Does anyone know when is the next "breakdown" scheduled for? I am beginning to suspect that ESKOM draws the loadshedding stage numbers from a hat every morning

Supposedly one generator at Kusile returning from planned maintenance (800MW) is helping, but that would explain at most, one less stage of LS, not the two/three reduction we are seeing compared to just last Friday. Of course other plants do come back online and offline continuously as well, so perhaps that has also been a factor. Also perhaps they have received sufficient diesel deliveries (@wingnut771 noted basically no diesel was used at the back end of last week).
