It's almost as if they hate peeps enjoying December - a few years of supposed Covid-based heavy restricting before this. Maybe they're scared of too many party animals
I reached that conclusion in 2014 already... ANC hates seeing people happy, ties in once again with Idi Amin style mentality. Want to see everyone crying and suffering while they walk in a suit and drive through the village in a Black Mercedes

We're still having the odd shed-skipping here. The timing looks like an effort to be fair.

And one occasion where they turned us off late with just 50 min. to go, and another where they left us off until 45 min. after we were supposed to go back on. So maybe all just sloppy workmanship, who knows

See sudden increase in availability

Still puzzled over the stage 5 in the non peak though

The declared availability.

Or are we talking about that jump from 25150 to 25580?
They will generally be identical through a few hours, but it's the forecasted load as well that is lower from 8pm but we're on stage 5.

I'm happy because my 8-10pm was halved by going to 4.
Sure, I looking at it from a business perspective, what if you sent your staff home because there was a 4 hour session and now you can't get the 2 hours back?

Actually, don't worry, these businesses will be permanently closed soon soon anyway. Problem solved.

Yeah, I don't know how much longer the country can afford this.
