I used to believe that Eskom doesn't LS any extra that it needs to, but after this and earlier instances in the year, they've been gaslighting the public and definitely adding on additional stages when the data suggests it was not required.

Lately they've clearly burnt all the diesel. The extra stages have likely been to get that diesel reserve back.

Which is insane when you think about it. They could just burn a moderate amount of diesel consistent with the amount of diesel they're actually able to acquire each day. This would not only allow them to maintain stable reserves, but it would keep the stages somewhat constant, even if they're a stage or so higher. Instead they swing wildly because they turn the "burn diesel" dial to 11 for 1 week, then have to throttle back so hard for the next week to replenish that we go up 3 stages.

It's all about those good stories to tell with these okes and how stages were reduced when the white devil left.
 
Up a stage overnight is within reason, but anyone who believes there's anything normal about jumping from no shedding to stage 4 for all of tomorrow, and then only one higher stage needed again for that evening, is easily fooled by these people.

We're being taken for a ride, simple as that.

I don't even bother trying to follow anymore. When were we at no shedding? I had my session at 10am and ESP has been telling me all day that my next one is at 10pm.

Esp has been telling me my schedule the whole day, doesn't make a difference though. Have had 0v coming from them

Funny, I made a screenshot of that odd schedule for some reason... (and Sunday day remained that way when most periods changed to S3 last night)
