Ah reminds me last year when our electricity went off a few hours before a scheduled LS slot. We got it back before the scheduled LS slot, but did not get the scheduled one - which begs the question about who got in our place? If I remember correctly (long time ago now), CoCT was on Stage 2 or 3 - not like another suburb could be load-shed in our place, but it did make me think about what would really happen if CoCT skipped all suburbs every weeks and whether that would really impact the severity of LS.

Ekhurleni tried that.
They just didn't Loadshed thier residents.
Eskom told them to implement.
They refused.
So Eskom cut the City off.
Now they Loadshed...

Apparently it was suspended till 5am, not sure if it was though in JHB, cause CP now run it and we know how they are.

Yep, it was - we weren't shed 12am to 2am.

BTW, this morning Mydorpie is suggesting that 12am to 5am every morning is S2, but I think they were just careless again and it was only re last night (originally).

Gordon is with CoCT - it's very likely if he wasn't LS, then there was no LS nationally [as CoCT residents do not get reduced LS over the weekend]. CoCT very rarely misses slots by accident.

Possible, but as I said not sure if CP got the memo sometimes
 
If these don't change, why are we at stage 3?
