Hopefully more ANC voters develop zero faith.

I guess sabotage is a possible reason again, but likely that's just a further-extreme wing of the ANC as well.

If sabotage is behind the unplanned then it'll get worse until election day then improve slowly....

It's sabotage more in the sense of money making, not other reasons
Yup.. It's quite a predictable pattern really.

Enough units go offline to push load shedding up a few stages but never enough to really threaten the power system.

If eskom was legitimately losing 6 units that fast due to a real fundamental malfunction then the grid would have crashed ages ago.

Yup Januworry

So with the new COJ schedules, you will always have 2 slots at stage 1 or 2, and 3 slots at stage 3 or 4? The ****?

Fun & games in the Jo'burg NE suburbs zoo - no power yesterday for 18 hrs., a blown transformer. (But they did LS as usual straight after )

Anyway, real story is that our one phase is now only getting around 110V. Got half the house rewired with extension cords at the mo. Lol

Ah reminds me last year when our electricity went off a few hours before a scheduled LS slot. We got it back before the scheduled LS slot, but did not get the scheduled one - which begs the question about who got in our place? If I remember correctly (long time ago now), CoCT was on Stage 2 or 3 - not like another suburb could be load-shed in our place, but it did make me think about what would really happen if CoCT skipped all suburbs every weeks and whether that would really impact the severity of LS.

Eskom se Push reports load shedding was suspended about 9pm.

We got an alert at 10pm, but power never went off as scheduled...
ESP says it was but Eskom doesn't say it was though.
