Credit where credits due, at least they're using 100% of pumped hydro at evening peak and manage to update at least one chart:

Ah lovely city power. 4 weeks ago we had a power failure that lasted 15 hours because they didn't have access to a gate... Today same type of failure and now 16 hours later, eish sorry we don't have the key to the switching station.

They clearly don't want your money. Get solar.

Lekker, almost 40 hours without power where I live. It's becoming a weekly thing now. DA is just another version of ANC
Haha another lekker power failure now. About 9hrs so far. Let's see how long this one lasts. DA doing great!

This weekend hasn't looked good at all, lets hope it updates again later, cause yeah 2GW shortfall here, though they might burn OCGTS like they did this weekend.

For the 3 days they used it at peaks? You do know that is one of their primary functions right? Even with the low usage in April they still managed R1.16 billion over that 5 weeks, so 53 million is actually a drop in comparison and means they barely used it.
The 70% EAF is in no way related to burning diesel.
Eish, words of one syllable needed - I never said it was.

I mean not great, still some burning happening tonight, but at least it's better than yesterday

Also really not a good start to the week

5% drop in EAF, massive jump in unplanned breakdowns. Though by Tuesday looking at the poweralert it did recover some, hopefully it will shift back to around 60%. As we want the unplanned at under 30% to remain LS free.
