Yesterday our area never had loadshedding whole day until 10pm last night... The neighbourhood felt different and it felt very weird...

And that is the sad thing... It should have felt normal

I am surprised we have not gone back to Stage 6.

It's not cold and they seem to be managing to keep coal at about 20GW. As soon as it gets cold and something else breaks we will see the fabled stage 8 or worse.

Sorry, the app can't show yesterday which showed "no loadshedding" all day.

Then stage 5 happened and I had from 10pm-midnight and 2-4am. I had my fan on with my fonkong inverter so I didn't notice when the aircon went off, but when I woke up this morning the fan blades weren't turning and was just buzzing with a hot motor. I plugged it back into the grid and I ran it normally until the motor cooled down.
