No doubt, many of the employees will be white and also charge high consulting fees. Payback is a bitch, is it not, Eskom? I'm wondering why Tutuka is excluded? That's the one that has the lowest EAF (like 20% - even below solar / wind EAF) and the station manager has to walk around with a bullet proof vest.

That's odd ( the race obsession thing aside), whatever happened to that brain trust (Kieswetter and co.) who were supposed to be doing exactly what is being suggested here. It's like none of the previous initiatives ever happened. There's a new plan everyday that starts from scratch.

You answered your own question, nobody with a brain is going anywhere near Tutuka xD

Well, it's 22:15 and I was supposed to go off at 22:00. Is it suspended again?
They got late afternoon done here but some didn't go off at midnight

What's next for the circus?
My gut feeling is S4 tonight with a mild Mon / Tue, followed by more deeper illusions on Wed.

Durban was always "online" seeing loadshitting hardly ever went below stage 4 so nothing has really changed.
Timing of some improvements did look that way though, I think mostly about the weather. Either way they keep royally stuffing it up

Just read into today's Sunday Times and highlighted by De Ruyter in his book that the Lethabo power station in the Free State is the best performing power station in the fleet with an EAF of 74% - compared to the current Eskom EAF of 52%. The station manager there (has worked at Eskom for 30 years) highlighted one crucial difference between this power station and the ones located in Mpumalanga: the Lethabo power station has a direct line to the coal mine (conveyer belt), which I think means no trucks are involved, lowering the possibilities of receiving rocks into their coal plants

Ever since the 25th, the numbers dont make sense, the demand supply is closer and we had 3 half days of no loadshedding for the first time in 10 months

We had no loadshitting a few weeks ago for a few hours on sunday.

So you only suspect other issues, but not that the govt. / Eskom are manipulating the info.
Threads are full of similar all along, just more obvious at the moment
