The terms have been so misused at this point that all we can say for sure in a sentence of two, is that Confederalism is so hostile to central economic planners, that they prefer Federalism.Bit of a coincidence though that it involved the slave states.
Anyway, I still see the idea of Confederalism as an improvement on Federalism which is not a free system in the US for example.
I'll leave it there

Which, imo, sets the snowball rolling, with every meter made making that Federalist, central-planning ball bigger, and harder to stop.
