Not surprised really - I think you posted in KZN it was sunny, but not sure if Eskom has a solar plant there (don't think so). Basically all the cape provinces (Northern, Western, and Eastern) are experiencing rain until Friday.

KZN actually has the least viable sun hours in the entire country

We don't have molten sand (or was it silicone?) storage units yet?

Summer was pretty much overcast all the time. No chance to see astronomical things at night. Winter is pretty much clear but nothing happens in the skies in winter apparently.

It seems eskoms EAF cycle of increasing during winter is still holding. Still 1% lower than last year though. The end of the year is going to be rough if kusile doesn't come back.
