Holy moly this is going to be brutal.and we are completely screwed in Jhb with stage 6 schedule. ESP app is also being hammered now with everyone trying to see the schedule.
Those poor substations are just gonna have to hold on tight and hope for the bestHoly moly this is going to be brutal.
With the 1.5h gaps between slots and them turning blocks on late, City Power is going to derail completely this weekend.
It was already taking a toll on infrastructure. Increasing the frequency of switching substations off/on is just going to make it worse...You know what... I think I prefer our "on 2 hours off 2 hours" dance at stage 6 than solid 4-hour blocks with a few hours until the next 4-hour block, assuming nothing blows up of course, I also only have 10 hours of outages instead of 12 now![]()
Maybe with the reworked areas, it will generally be better with a few outliers that need to be addressed, but hey I woke up in an unusually positive mood this morning, meds must be working lolIt was already taking a toll on infrastructure. Yeah I suspect 24 hours+ without power for a lot of areas... Mine includedIt was already taking a toll on infrastructure. Increasing the frequency of switching substations off/on is just going to make it worse...
Actually it's pretty much what we had with their previous frak up to be honest. 2 hours off, 2 hours on for a total of 8 hours a day, in fact tomorrow is a vast improvement at stage 6 then my stage 4 was on Wednesday.and we are completely screwed in Jhb with stage 6 schedule. ESP app is also being hammered now with everyone trying to see the schedule.
Increase charging amps to 100 or ration your usage in the first session.and won't give our inverters a chance to charge.
How does it make it worse? If all the substations are broken then we can go back to stage 4.It was already taking a toll on infrastructure. Increasing the frequency of switching substations off/on is just going to make it worse...
Well the original 4 hour block ones would've been 11.5 hours in total, with the new stage 6 it could be 12.5 hours, 5x2 plus 5x30minutes for the restorationYou know what...
