Surprises me, the continued growth after 1998. I thought Eskom hit its peak round about then. I certainly don't recall many new power plants being commissioned between 98 and 2008.
There was more generation than what was needed so a few power stations were mothballed then brought back.

Idiots can't seem to resolve the problem they have with the substation. Our power was supposed to be out from 22:00 - 0:00 but only came back at 06:00 before going out at 08:00 again. If this keeps up I'm going to lose it.
 
Worst possible time for LS. Just connected another battery up. is it flat and not balanced. Dammit Eskom.
 
Fsckers eventually get whats coming to them.

Oh, we at least went up in available capacity.

So, alls well again, right guys?.....right?!
It seems coal is holding, it must be the 11 units they were talking about. I would have thought 11 units would have made a much bigger difference:
