I've been watching the grid voltage and it has a nice ramp-up today. I wonder what it looks like on other substations?

Load shedding at 7,000MW but still on stage 6. Last week was load shedding at 1,000MW or whatever but on stage 4.

You guys are wasting your time analysing those graphs and posting tweets, it means nothing. They're just doing whatever...

Don't worry, Baas De Ruyter said - "Eskom is doing everything in their POWER to reduce loadshedding"......

Voltage is local grid specific and has nothing really to do with load shedding. Frequency is what should be the same on the entire grid
I know thats why I said I wonder what other substations are like. This is more an indicator of load on the substation and the discussion about batteries having a negative effect.

@Lupus are the GT's those small plants you were talking about btw? Just noticed them now for the first time lol
I am assuming so, and so are twitterers? Tweeters? It would make sense to separate them as Port Rex and Acacia are only 57MW per unit so it would only be 160MW or so for the 3 of them running, seeing as they are listed as 3 I'm assuming it's Port Rex as Acacia is apparently closed due to being backup for Koeberg at the moemnt.

Mines been holding around 230 for the last week or so, though in the past before massive amounts of load shedding like we see now it was 220 or so. But that isn't an indication either as Enzo stays down the road and his substation is balls.
