Its probably more than the balance incase issues ariseThey're shedding 6000 so the balance must be this stage 4 curtailment. Give or take. Obvious?

I wake up because I have to turn everything off so some random load shedding surge doesn't destroy sht.Monday (2am+4pm) and wednesday (4am+8pm) I also have it twice a day.
I have a fan running off an inverter when I go to bed if there is overnight loadshitting (when I remember) so at least I don't wake up.
If you say so. So 1000MW / 4 = 250They're shedding 6000 so the balance must be this stage 4 curtailment. Give or take. Obvious?
I've never bothered.I wake up because I have to turn everything off so some random load shedding surge doesn't destroy sht.
No idea i just knew what the definition was today my area had 12 to 4:30pm and then 8 to 12:30 tonightHow does 6 + 4 = 7? How many MW is stage 4 curtailment?
Stage 4 load curtailment: something they just made up? Waiting for tomorrows charts, want to see this "stage 4".
In my area you have to. We seem to have some shitty connection. Every month or so we have an issue where the area goes down, and surges and sht occur when LS happens but that's happened maybe 5 or so times in the last 10 years.I've never bothered.

But still I'm not going to Tata ma chance with that sht.
I think we will have a couple of really cold days but I don't think we will see that 37gw peak this year. We might get up to 35gw with winter + Stage 5+ load shifting though, which will be a healthy Stage 11 with the current numbers.Back in Feb when they went over 7000MW shed there were some headlines about how this was really stage 7/8 and they later 'clarified' that they had done extra curtailment on industrial customers, I guess they're trying to get ahead of that now with that note. Pulling out all the stops to avoid announcing we're in stage 7 or 8 but it seems it's just a matter of time as we head into winter.
Because they will rather lose businesses money and hurt the economy and keep the ANC supporters in the area more contentWhy go to load curtailment and not ramp up LS in Durban
Because dbn is shedding 13 stages already. Why go to load curtailment and not ramp up LS in Durban
Curtailment means they "ask" heavy users to "cut down". In this context - how is stage 4 defined, what happens if those users don't comply and how many GW does "cut down" translate to?They're shedding 6000 so the balance must be this stage 4 curtailment. Give or take. Obvious?
Lies, you feckers have power. The flood excuse can't fly forever...Because dbn is shedding 13 stages already.
Hasn't hit 37GW peak since 2011, why would it suddenly do so after 12 years? We last hit 35 in 2020I think we will have a couple of really cold days but I don't think we will see that 37gw peak this year. Not the floods ****er, the 3 oil refineries that have closed because of the great liberation movement’s transformation.Lies, you feckers have power. The flood excuse can't fly forever...
Well everyone's inverters and **** having to charge all the time will use quite a bit extraHasn't hit 37GW peak since 2011, why would it suddenly do so after 12 years? We last hit 35 in 2020
