I've decided to keep the house on grid all day and charge from grid instead of the panels; due to shitty weather and similar schedule to yours.
Yup same, our first session was 2 to 6, next one is 10 to 2pm then 6 to 8

I'm already running on Eskom at the moment :-( rain hasn't stopped

I still have to wait till 10 for the grid. Will have to give instructions to keep usage light till then as the batteries are near 30%.

Ours:
04:00 - 08:30
12:00 -14:30
20:00 - 22:30

Currently batteries are at 70% and will be at 100% before the next slot.

Wow that is cutting it close, I switched over last night at 10pm, was like this rain isn't letting up.

You vokken poeste ruining it for the rest of us.

Block 8, 14 and 16 are all dodgy. Block 8 tripped the other day for 10hrs or something.
Think it's most of JHB now to be honest, I'm in 11 and it's dodgy, we were out for 17 hours about 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine in block 2 was out for 20, my dad 50 in block 0

The infrastructure has definitely deteriorated, significantly since September of last year.

Yep, parts of Craighall Park, Parkhurst and Parktown North were out for days a few weeks back as CityPower had moved part of the load from the Parkhurst sub station to Forest Town and then Rosebank after a cable fault which they never repaired. This overloaded Forest Town and Rosebank forcing CityPower to finally repair the cable fault. There are also random outages caused by local pole CB trips, like my ySIL last week in Parkhurst, took four days for CityPower to get her mains supply back, FOUR days to sort a CB out.
