Reading the comments below Eskom's updates where people comment things like "Just put us on stage 100, we don't care anymore" is really telling.

I don't think "We're getting kapowerships" is a massive vote buyer at this stage.

Yea been noticing a lot of "we don't give a **** about what stage we on just fix things or let it result in a total blackout".

I think a lot of people have just accepted this as life... It was like when we HAD to wear masks people made some noise then just realised "oh well this is life now"...

I keep hearing more of "it is what it is"

The rich haven't been affected enough and the poor have just said oh well **** happens which is very sad...

I don't blame them. How do you plan for something when it just changes with 5 minutes notice?

The other day, I thought about it, we had Mbeki and the arms deal, instead of using our power to vote for change, we said, nah we need more of this, so we got Zuma with the Guptas.

Along with Zuma and co we got rampant corruption, and again we said, nah we need more of this, here is a new dawn.

I do hope next year, people finally wake up and understand the consequences of voting. The voting populace does have a choice and say, but they don't use it and instead just accept it as fate.

A lot of them are controlled by fear. But even that is changing now, so agree, let's hope..

The think is; between Mbeki and Zuma - peoples lives were not that affect directly. 8 months of LS has affected everyone’s lives.

100% as long as it doesn't affect you directly, why bother, and I hope after this people learn, it will affect you in the long run.
