For me, it's down to the positioning of my panels - winter means the sun is lower and hits the panels directly on, so peak generation is better. Also north facing roof helps.

If they somehow got the ball rolling today, they won't arrive before the elections, so they are just clutching at straws as I don't think even they are aware how long it actually takes because counting isn't their strong point.

Reading the comments below Eskom's updates where people comment things like "Just put us on stage 100, we don't care anymore" is really telling.

I don't think "We're getting kapowerships" is a massive vote buyer at this stage.
