the major issue here is that there are absolutely no consequences for those who short the system.

They just get a slap on the wrist and go on as usual.

Investigators get intimidated and harassed.

The world will now forever be in an energy crisis. Double wammy because SA also has a government that actively destroyed the only source of grid electricity.

The answer is not nuclear, especially in SA, it just can not happen. It is not that renewables are the be all and end all, but it is the only option for SA, alongside a drastic cutting down of energy use.

The era of self-reliance has arrived, for those believing in nuclear, good luck setting up your mini nuclear plant at home.
