Yup definitely happy now, had another hour and a half window last night (not sure why only that) but I only noticed the power was off as my phone signal dropped to 3G, I also only noticed when I picked it up again at quarter to ten that the power was back cause it was 4G again.
The panels are going to be the cherry on top. That's when you start becoming almost religious with power monitoring and tweaking, to try and pay Eskom as little as possible...

I can confirm this is 100% correct  if you think your wife gets irritated when you get irritated because a light is left on, just wait...

Max is what they can generate with burning diesel and other methods. Declare is without that.
Remember these are estimates as well, they were the declared max and such at the time of 12pm yesterday or when ever it updated.

Why would anybody ever try to sabotage Eskom?

Somebody who's pissed at being denied a salary increase?
Could be. Other reasons as well,
- more overtime
- more contracts
- someone just wanting to make those in current power (excuse the pun) look bad
- criminality
- need to make it unstable so they can profit from the chaos. Those who don't like the cleanup

It create jobs and livelihood, all companies have the same problem with all the expectations contractors have, someone told me their fibre cable was cut, whilst on the same pole as the old Telkom copper.

Of course there could be other reasons like politics, wanting to prove that there's more loadshedding now than before, disgruntled employees and others.
