Yeah, they should put all these useless cANCer ****ers in front of some wind turbines. With all their hot air and bull **** talk, we should be able to get 1GW of power!!That 282mw of wind is pathetic.
What you want them to go talk to them with their hot air? As I've been saying we cannot rely on renewables as we've got 5000mw of wind installed in SA and the most I've seen it hit is 3000mw during the day around evening time it may still be hitting under 2000mw, but after 6pm it drops contrary to what some will say, wind doesn't dramatically improve over evening periods, there might be an hour or so where it might be stronger, but it's not around peak times. That 282mw of wind is pathetic.
282/5000 mw? That's crazy. Why so low? What you want them to go talk to them with their hot air? Sun is obviously useless until around 8am.
I wish they would stop with wind renewables, they so ugly and solar thermal design (tower/mirrors) as they harm the bird life.Wait till you see the UKs

And that's with close to 30GW installed. So yeah it wouldn't make much of a difference if there is no wind.
Don't forget the blades aren't recyclable and end up in massive "graveyards", the other raw materials needed to make solar panels isn't great for the environment and lets not forget that having CSP requires a backup power for keeping the molten salt, well molten. So you need a peaker for there.I wish they would stop with wind renewables, they so ugly and solar thermal design (tower/mirrors) as they harm the bird life.
Treat renewables like us going off grid and get pv with 3+ days of battery storage (compressed air) plus gas peakers that run on methane from our waste.

If we had biomass or nuclear that would be more renewable.
Well technically that's exactly how a nuclear plant works and a coal oneUse Nuclear for power & to boil water & make Hydrogen.
Use Hydrogen in cars as fuel & at nightime you can purify saltwater as well when demand drops.
Well technically that's exactly how a nuclear plant works and a coal one. Make steam, turn turbine.
Well apparently newer plants you can sort of recycle the fuel.Yes but coal you have to stoak the fire... Nuclear no need to add fuel just have to figure out what to do with it when you not "making" power.
I have faith that we will improve on the pv design and recycling process.Don't forget the blades aren't recyclable and end up in massive "graveyards", the other raw materials needed to make solar panels isn't great for the environment and lets not forget that having CSP requires a backup power for keeping the molten salt, well molten. Use wave power to desalinate sea water.Use Nuclear for power & to boil water & make Hydrogen.

The seas around SA is also the toilet of SA unflushed, so can not desalinate.Use wave power to desalinate sea water.
It doesn't have to be right next to the sewerage pipe. The seas around SA is also the toilet of SA unflushed, so can not desalinate.
Turds float far and wide, SA turds are particularly nasty. It doesn't have to be right next to the sewerage pipe.
Sewage water is recycled into drinking water elsewhere in the world. I don't see how this has to be a showstopper. The seas around SA is also the toilet of SA unflushed, so can not desalinate.
Elsewhere in the world they don`t pump raw sewerage straight into the ocean, they use treatment plants before it goes into the ocean. In a socialist system there is no place for treatment plants.Sewage water is recycled into drinking water elsewhere in the world. I don't see how this has to be a showstopper.
