Of those 12, only about 4 is usable while you're awake and at home. Loose 4 while sleeping and 4 while at work and then that is also of they manage to turn it back on.We still have 12 hours odd of power a day...

Only proves my point about renewables being uselessRenewables aren't counted in that chart afaik. Probably "planned" maintenance. Blue line is coal, red line is diesel afaik.
No, the point is that power alert chart is pointless guesswork.Only proves my point about renewables being useless
Well I guess we have to try find clues somewhere. No, the point is that power alert chart is pointless guesswork.
Will probably be lowered. They said stage 5 until Saturday, not load shedding until Saturday...My info source isn't updating - did they announce if Sat. morning change is @ 5:00 as usual? Did they say down to stage 4, or not confirmed?
TIA
Well I guess we have to try find clues somewhere.
But lies among other issues definitely continue.
Wind is showing promise though several projects need to be rolled out to make a dent. These bids are sluggish. Bid Window 5 which totals 2600MW are currently being signed, I heard yesterday on SAfm 3 of 25 projects were signed which is ~400MW.Only proves my point about renewables being useless
So far they've only said stage 5 until 5am Saturday, nothing about what happens after thatMy info source isn't updating - did they announce if Sat. morning change is @ 5:00 as usual? Did they say down to stage 4, or not confirmed?

What kinda shocks me is stuff like https://www.kathusolarpark.co.za/ is not even currenly feeding to the grid... From what a heard its being held up by the prosessesm. I can't confirm 100% but from the website I can't see anywhere they state they are busy feeding the grid.Wind is showing promise though several projects need to be rolled out to make a dent. Apparently 3% of all co2 emissions are from Africa, the rest is from China, US and Europe, but we must show we are going to stop our co2 emissions that will help global warming.Does anyone know why Biden is talking about closing our coal plants? Are the Americans getting the involved with fixing Eskom?
