Chuffed because we used less diesel this weekend. This moanday the genny is above 65%.

Last moanday it was on 20%.

Hoping they will be able to fix the broken equipment, but I'm not going to hold my breath, as a domino effect may happen.

Demand went down a bit when the load shedding stage was down, wonder if there is a correlation.
Yeah, I'm seeing this more and more clearly. Residential demand (in kWh) is largely constant - geysers still need to be heated, food cooked etc. Loadshedding simply shifts when people can do it, but doesn't decrease total consumption over a day. Lower stages means that consumption can be spread out more across the day, which means less instantaneous demand

Yup that's my thinking, as the higher the stages the higher the demand was at 6pm, now it seems it's dropping a bit, tonight will show if this is true, as Tuesday are normally a little more demanding for some reason.

Well for one we use as normal, batteries just recharge when mains returns... ie: demand shifted :D
